- Lower your fuel costs with this great idea (pg. 1)
- During our solar workshop we presented several ways to save fuel by cooking with alternative methods. The "haybox" is a system that you can modify and cut your fuel costs significantly. If you don't have time to construct one as show in the plans in this download you can just use an old cooler and wrap the cooking pan in a blanket and let it sit in the cooler (now a heater) until you are ready to serve. A little experimentation is necessary to determine cooking times but this is a great way to cut cooking fuel costs significantly! there are 3 pages for this document that you will need to download seperately
