On the weekend of April 12th, 2008 KYFA hosted an informative "Fruit Tree Pruning workshop" at Kumu aina Farms in the Kapohoa area. Mike Nedal from Beaumont Ag Research Center once again shared with us his years of knowledge and as an added bonus showed us how to graft and air-layer fruit trees!   Check out this great Blog by local author Janice Crowl  who recently published the book Container Gardening in Hawaii: How to Grow Paradise in a Pot.   Janice highlights some of the major points from the workshop and piques your interest with a touch of humor, insight into Kumu Aina Farm and some really great photos of this days event!
