Acres magazine lovers and others,

 This coming January this event hopes to expand to Kauai and the Big Island.  The vision is a statewide collaborative effort to bring cutting edge information on health and the whole systems in agriculture that support health.

 Kauai already has an active committee to make this event a reality, we are hoping to do the same here (hopefully on the Hamakua coast or the westside).  it will require a motivated and excited group to manifest this local happening with Big Island aloha.  We will need a location that can handle enough participants to cover expenses and perhaps be appropriate to demonstrate some of the information covered, possibly either a farm or some place near one (for tour purposes).

 Vincent Mina  of Maui Aloha Aina Association is the force behind this incredible opportunity.  He and his support folks have done the groundwork and are offering a gift to us.  Please consider accepting and take a part in the organization to get this gathering up and running.
