Between 400-500 folks attended... hungry for the connection with sources
for home food production. Thank you to Una, Melanie (who did a fabulous job
for Hawai'i SEED educating the public about papaya contamination and putting
the power of the test in the public's hands) Lyn and Geoff, Jerry
(who once again planted an entire new mala with all the known varieties of
Hawaiian kalo) Ronna and Robert, and allthe Hawai'i Island Farmers and
Gardeners who participated and shared their mana'o and food sources
with the entire community. It is through your work and efforts that
Food Security on Hawai'i island tookanother Giant Leap!
Aloha and Mahalo,
Nancy Redfeather
