Puna Small Farm Initiative Volunteer “Farm Aid Day” Our second event

This initiative targets small local family farms for direct community support. Deferred maintenance, simple expansion plans and endless projects that never quite get started or finished are possible candidates for our help. This is an opportunity to physically help those who bring us the gift of quality local food. It is also a great way to get to “Know Your Farmer.” The families feel supported and valued, we have a great day meeting new friends and working together - knowing we are making a difference!
